| We are looking for responsible, dedicated and highly motivated security professionals to fill a variety of security positions; Mobile Patrol, Site guards, Event Security
We are looking for;
*Full time and Part time site guards
*Full time - Casino security
*Part time - Daytime on call Patrol and weekend Day shift 0800 to 1800 hrs.
Major Responsibilities:
Reporting to Management, responsibilities and essential job functions include but not limited to:
1. Conduct Mobile patrol of Grande Prairie and area in marked patrol vehicles;
2. Conduct foot patrols and door checks of client’s businesses and residents;
3. Detect or protect thefts and vandalism;
4. Protect property and persons against a broad range of hazards, including crime, fire, accidents,espionage, sabotage, subversion and attack;
5. Respond to alarms and other emergencies;
6.Enforce regulations of establishments;
7. Maintain order;
8. Make arrests under the criminal code of Canada;
9. Monitor site visitors to ensure safety and access in accordance with site policies and procedures;
10. Prepare and maintain professional and effective reports of occurrences;
11. Maintain a professional security presence;
12. Appear in court as a witness;
13. Work as a part of a dynamic effective security team;
14. Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Applicants must have a current RCMP criminal background check with "vulnerable sectors" check
• Valid Alberta Security License (willing to train)
• Valid drivers license
• Current First Aid and CPR an asset
• Strong ability to work with the general public
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor
• Proactive and persistent at dealing with issues; providing outstanding customer service
• Must be physically capable of standing or walking for long periods of time |
